Where are you located?
Tough Cookie X is a home based business located in Leduc, AB
Do you deliver?
Tough Cookie X is a one woman show so delivery is just not an option at the moment
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a nonrefundable deposit equal to 50% of your orders total is due at the time the order is placed and the balance is due before pickup
Do you ship?
Sadly no, cookies, caramels, snack mixes etc are unavailable for shipping.
Non food items in the boutique are available for shipping though!
Are your bakery items peanut free?
While I do my best to avoid cross contamination my home kitchen is not peanut free, other allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat etc. are also stored and handled in my home. I do not recommend consuming any of my bakery items if you have an allergy.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
I tend to book up months to a year in advance—if you know you will want cookies for an event reach out as early as you can!
What is your minimum order?
For custom cookie requests my minimum is 1 dozen cookies in one flavor, past that orders increase by a half dozen and can be a mix of cookie flavors.
What flavor cookies do you offer?
My delicious, thick soft sugar cookies are currently offered in traditional vanilla sugar cookies, chocolate chip sugar cookies & chocolate sugar cookies decorated in a vanilla royal icing.
How big are your cookies?
My cookies are generally 3.5”-5” all are rolled to a generous thickness and baked soft and chewy
How are your cookies packaged?
Each cookie comes individually bagged and heat sealed in a bakery box, paint cookies, holiday preorders etc come in a variety of options and at different price points.
How should I store my cookies?
Cookies can be stored at room temperature for up to a week. If they are not all enjoyed within the week or you need to order ahead of time you can freeze them for 4 months. When freezing put them in a container. To thaw remove the container from the freezer and place it on the counter do not open the container until they are completely thawed as condensation can occur and ruin the icing/decorations.
How much do your cookies cost?
Pricing depends on a variety of things, theme, flavor of cookies, number of icing colors etc. More detailed sets, characters, florals etc result in an increase. If you have a theme in mind I am more than happy to quote you
